So I'm in the same boat as lots of others it seems. My first post here so please forgive me.

Currently I have a Ford Raptor I'm thinking about trading in. In the garage I have my old trusty Twin Turbo AWL/AWS Stealth.

I like HP, and I like cornering, but my days of 100+ MPH are pretty low. But I do like the 0-60 take offs. I also really like cornering.

Mustang GT 500 vs 370z Nismo

As some others have said the 370z is a bit more rare. These days you can't drive 2 miles without seeing a new body style Mustang. Which also has the question for me. Resale value down the road.... It would seem to me the 370z would hold value much better then the Mustang? I typically keep a car 1-2 years. and drive maybe 8-10k miles a year.

At this point I haven't driven either. I did just buy the GF a Maxima and we love it. It was really light years ahead of any car that ford had we tested. Camaro is out for me. Love the look, but just not interested. Challenger is nice, big *** muscle car... crappy cornering. Altho Lime green could be tempting.

Sorry if i got a bit off the original post. Not trying to hyjack the thread.

The 2011 Mustang GT actually has KBB's best resale value in the "High Performance Car" category.

But yeah, resale on the Z is not bad at all.

honestly man, it sounds like an Evo would be worth a look. not much of a top-end, but handling and launching are it's specialty. that car is QUICK and feels like it defies physics.

doesn't look as sexy as a Z though.

Well... I've had two raptors now. Bought one of the first ones in the NE. Had the 5.4 Supercrew cab. Hated the shift pattern and the Motor didn't have enough power for the truck.

Traded it for a new 6.2 crewcab. They fixed a ton of things I hated about the 2010 version. And the new 6.2 has plenty of HP. It's a great off road truck. The suspension is awesome.. But it is a 50k + truck... Are you really going to beat the crap out of it? Getting it dirty is one thing.. using it to actually work with. Probably not. It's a toy, a fun toy

Taking it on road trips is awesome, I've taken it to FL several times. 1200 miles each way. 15 mpg But you're not all cramped etc..

Curious where you're located in NY. My biggest concern with the Raptor is its width. Doesn't look like it would be too friendly fitting in hunting trails or anything similar lol.

It's wide.. I don't fit in many car washes lol. It's literally 7 inches wider then a F150.

I'm in upstate, south of Syracuse. I'm actually headed to CT in a hour.
