Here's a tip I picked up recently over on the (Super Anal) Corvette forum....

Wet a used Bounce (or equivalent) dryer sheet and use it to remove bugs. Sounds a little goofy, but I guarantee once you try it you'll be rooting through your wife's laundry room trash can for these sheets...

You've got a pretty heavy infestation there for which a Belt sander may be more appropriate, but for every day use, try the dryer sheets. you'll be amazed!
