There really is no such thing as 'top tier' gas. The difference is the additives they put into the gas, some companies have developed better additives than others.
Most gas is all pumped from the same plant and when dumped at a gas station they add the specific additives for that brand and mix in the tank. Now there are companies who control the whole line from plant to gas station but most have gotten away from this because it is cheaper the other way.
