Drifting is an art. Full throttle mid way through turn is different.

It really feels like I am drifting since I have to hold my steering wheel to the opposite direction of the car moving.

Wait, have I just learned drifting without knowing? lol.

Then you're too hot into the corner. It's not your acceleration causing it, it's your entry speed and most likely you're on the brakes with the wheel turned. In too hot>panic>brake while turning>unbalanced car>oversteer.

Yup, I was going into corners too fast, didn't get enough straight line brake in and lost it while braking/turning a few times. Slow in, fats out, and do your braking straight are good pieces of advice I will remember next track day.
