corner with full acceleration

[closed road situation]

If you make a right turn with VDC off and full throttle, does your car spin out? (unless I counter my steering wheel)
I don't think it did when my car was a complete stock. But after changing rims and tires, the car feels really unstable.

I've got even sticky tires than stock (Re-11 265/305) and ran a couple of test when it was 80F outside.

Is it time to get LSD? lol.

"If you make a right turn with VDC off and full throttle, does your car spin out?"

Absolutely, you're gone!

If you can't handle a situation like that you shouldn't be doing it.

Any time you over power the rear tires while cornering the back end is going to slide. It's simple physics...

No kidding. Of course it will. Smooth application of power for fast a controlled exit.

A lot of people don't understand what that means for handling dynamics, though.

Isn't that called "drifting"?

Troo

Just remember, the stickiest tires, an LSD and best coilovers the world can't compensate for the squishy bag of flesh between the steering wheel and driver seat. Driving technique > any mod you can bolt on to a car.

Drifting is an art. Full throttle mid way through turn is different. :icon17:

FYI: Drifting DOES NOT EQUAL TO Spin-Out
