It is said that at the Marine Corps boot camp rifle range that in the towers are snipers that will shoot anybody standing up when not told to or making threatening gestures. I don't want to find out if it is true.

I'll try to get some shots of it this weekend. The problem that I have is since my car is in a tight garage, and then 3 more cars in the drive, there's really no lighting to get good shots in the garage and it's a hassle to move all the cars out of the way to get it out just to put it back in. If you don't mind the lighting being so so, I'll see about getting in the car just to take some quick shots with my DSLR and external flash. Can't promise the quality will be super great though

Push the ISO to a higher value and bounce the flash onto the ceiling, it should give you a good result.

Took my front bumper off for the first time, and only broke one clip before I figured how to do it correctly.....wiring LED string to parking light. Having trouble getting them powered up. Put positive from strip to positive (green wire) of parking light then attached negative to a screw underneath headlamp housing (as others said they had done. What could I have screwed up?

Safelite installed my new Nissan OEM windshield with OEM Nissan foam airdam at the base at 607 miles.

It cost me $500 (comp. deductible, no glass coverage in my state).

I am picky as hell. Super picky. Absurdly.

They let me watch the entire job, and the guy doing the work did a flawless one.

-NOTHING was torn, cracked, broken, scratched, or lost.
-The pinch-weld was primed very well.
-The bead was a "V" bead as is OEM, and was "tied" where it was joined. It was very healthy looking and I find the concept of it leaking improbable.
-There is no squeaking or wind-noise at all.
-Everything went back together with no way of anyone being able to tell it was ever apart.

Aside from the receipt in my glove box, it never happened.

I cannot endorse Safelite, however. I CAN endorse the tech's who did my work (the manager, who has experience doing Ferrari circuit cars did 95% of it). To endorse an entire chain is ridiculous. However, if you are in the Shreveport/Bossier LA area, I CAN! endorse Joe Goodwin and HIS Safelite location as competent, polite, and understanding of OCD.

Oh...I also installed my Cosworth drop-ins. Just blowing through them with my mouth, they flowed a bit freer than my OEM filters. They also have less pleats...hrmmm...

Either way, just cranking, the car has a bit of "hiss" to it now.

Next up...re-tint down to the AS1 on the new windshield.
