thing about this lock is these are made in germany (probably by TRW) and there's nothing less convincing than letting the germans make electronic parts.

some will work great, some will fail. no consistency.

sh!t. Germans and car electronics is a match made in hell. We're probably lucky they're not catching fire or something.
