any one know where I can get 5qt jug of mobil1 synthetic for cheap? I don't go to walmart so don't know if they are doing a sale yet. :icon17: I don't want to go to walmart unless its on sale...

Mike 03-08-2012 08:36 PM

I put my race wheels and brake pads back on. Switched to streets in January and drove it 15 miles in the interim :(

Just go to Walmart. I go to Walmart -- it is a form of therapy for me. It is the same reason I have to watch "Cops" every now and then. I feel much better about myself and what I am doing with my life with every visit.

The price is about my range and the sound is quite good.

Thank you for the explanation Mr.kenchan

The reason why I want to understand what is the difference is I don't want to have a loud exhaust note from my car, sometimes I would like to enjoy the audio system or having conversation in the cabin. :icon17:

Oh Alcheng, if only you lived in Florida.. You could take a ride in mine and here the gloriousness that is FI! :)

Ps. I have the 18" resonator, making it the quietest FI offering available.

:icon18: lol! hahaha. i guess it's a place for one to go remind himself wat one took for granted...

going to walmart is like going to the social security office or police station where you feel like you did
something wrong yet you haven't. :icon17:

kenchan 03-08-2012 09:37 PM

was doing some garage cleaning and came across valvoline Dot3 synpower brake fluid from maybe 4-5yrs ago. it's still factory sealed. good to use?

Nick911sc 03-08-2012 09:40 PM

I wouldn't use it

But since you said bad things about my fiance I think you should :p

happytheman 03-08-2012 09:43 PM

I went to a brake fluid class once. The guy who ran it claimed that if the brake fluid is not in a metal can, it does not age very well as it can absorb minute amounts of moisture through the plastic. Hmm. If it is sealed and everything, I would probably use it though -- just not in the Z's.

lol. :icon17: i didn't say anything bad about your fiance... you did.

I just made a comment based on real world experience being with the same girl for 20yrs. your annoyances will become a huge problem after a while, unless you talk it over and resolve it early on. :)

i will state that i would never marry a girl that would control how i spend my allowance. :D

Nick911sc 03-08-2012 10:06 PM

I'm just joking lol. She doesn't control how I spend any money on my car or anything else. Anyone on the forum that knows me in person just knows I spend money on other stuff before I spend money on my car.

I kept the joke running too longggggggggggggg

Nick911sc 03-08-2012 10:08 PM

If I showed you guys all the stuff I bought instead of mods for my car you'd kick me off the forum

kenchan 03-08-2012 10:10 PM

you have a barbie doll collection or something?

Nick911sc 03-08-2012 10:15 PM

I do a lot of skeet shooting weekly and it adds up pretty quick

Sort of, but the configuration of the field is set up differently.

Nick911sc 03-08-2012 10:23 PM

I love it. Talk about money being burned on equipment and accessories though lol

Some guys shoot with guns that cost over $20,000...

holy crap! :D and im sure the rounds aren't cheap either.

onzedge 03-08-2012 10:27 PM

I went skeet shooting with my Glock model 22 once many moons ago. The range master was not happy with me. Some of the clay took several rounds to hit.

kenchan 03-08-2012 10:28 PM

i would need a machine gun and will probably still miss. :icon17:

Nick911sc 03-08-2012 10:29 PM

Outside of New York prices are much cheaper, where I shoot price per game is decent... But still expensive. Not many options as far as location is concerned, Long Island is far from being a wide open area lol

lmao! I would love to see that. If we did that we might end up shooting a fisherman off the shore as we shoot over the water lmao

kenchan 03-08-2012 10:30 PM

so now we know nick's fiance is cool with nick's excessive spending spree afterall. lol

At the Yolo Sportsman Club it is all wide open and uninhabited for quite a ways. It was still stupid though.

Srenity 03-08-2012 10:32 PM

Pretty much any hobby can get crazy expensive. I have about $10K into two bicycles.
