Late Feb through Mid April is Sand Storm season in El Paso. I lived in the area from Birth to 28. I have driven through a complete white out from major sand storms. I can't imagine what that would do to the soft paint on the Z though.

have you watched your Z get hailed on?

i took my girl for some ice cream last summer and as we are standing in line a freak hail storm hits with decent sized hail raining down bouncing off my beautiful car and im forced to watch in torture . Clearcoat marks were left, but I polished out most of them

I've seen the effects of a hailstorm, it's absolutely terrible and even seen dents caused from it, fortunately not my Z. I was just saying better as in worse lol

Saw this nice big paint chip on my hood today... It's right down to the metal.

I think I'm gonna have to invest in some Dr. Colorchip, or similar. Thoughts, recommendations perhaps based on experience?

yah, when i saw my first ding (one and only) on my front bumper after a butt-face truck dumped a whole bunch of rocks in front of me that i avoided most but not all, i was then then then charburgers and cheeze fries.
