30,000 units of 3200lb paperweights if Nissan doesn't come up with a 100% fix for the steering lock problem.. lol

Only time will tell. Let's revisit this thread in 40 years.

I think the 370 as a "collectable" is certainly plausible if the car industry continues to head towards hybrid and electric drivetrains. Chances are, Nissan's next iteration will likely be a smaller displacement turbo or some kind of hybrid system. Just look at their Esflow concept and set it next to a 370. When you're old and accustomed to driving hybrids or electrics, can you honestly tell me you wouldn't miss driving a 370 with a nice aftermarket exhaust from your youth.

Electric car with a digital exhaust that sounds like whatever you're choice is on that given day might sound good to me! :-p

J/K, This is one of my biggest fears as to where the car market is moving right now... I like all the turbos coming out but what's next? They aren't going to move back to larger displacement motors. It's a one way road as far as I can tell.

Well said. The future is bleek for gas engines of todays tech. And right now most car companies are doing their best work. Its only downhill from here for the gas powered engine. I think even the humdrum looking 12 cars to a city block mustangs and these transformers camaros will be classics. Its the beginning of the end. Goodbye aftermarket FI boosted Z's, hello aftermarket battery boosted 2020 prius coupe with a "Silent-Fart Inc."exhaust simulator.

That makes sense. We're in a pretty cool era of performance cars with big power and cool tech, so I could see us wanting to have cars like this in our collection 25+ years from now when all the government lets us buy is electric stuff.

My question would be whether or not we'd actually be allowed to drive our collectibles...
