Most likely the one on the G37. Maybe not the same exact design but very similar. As we discussed earlier the one on the S2K wouldn't work for us as consumers being we all have many different exhaust with different design. Thus you couldn't really produce a production product for all.

SPOHN 11-15-2011 06:53 PM

I like this one the most. I have a buddy who has this one on his 350. The lower pics are from his. I believe it was made by Voltex. But the design on the ends is what strikes me. I like the squared look design.

And this one is the other you've seen. That's all I can find so quickly. I'll try to find more.

Nice looking diffuser. I will pass this along to help brainstorm some ideas.

The Dimer 11-15-2011 09:37 PM

Can someone explain what the folded parts on the sides of the diffuser above are for? I don't find them particularly appealing, but if they serve a purpose then I could probably overlook that.

Are you just interested or did you want your name on the list also for most likely would purchase one?

ValidusVentus 11-16-2011 06:17 AM

Brake ducts. My name goes on that list as long as the price is reasonable. ~/< 350-400. Obviously the plastic wouldn't cost that much but dev costs and all at least that is my guestimation of a fair price for a non cf option which is the route I would prefer. Thanks to all you jdm guys for the efforts.

kenchan 11-16-2011 10:52 AM

yah, im interested in the rear diffuser and brake ducts as well. but i really need to see wat it's going to look like and pricing to commit. i think that's fair, right?

An odd request, but since you guys have the ability in house to do this it might be easier.
Replacement badge for the hamburger Nissan on the front/rear of the car. I know a few people who would like to see a Z or something similar.

gbrettin 11-16-2011 11:54 AM

I'm interested in the brake ducts but I'm going to sit on the side line until a few people do some installs before I purchase.

ZMan8 11-16-2011 12:25 PM

:iagree: I want to see what the brake ducts look like first and price.

Seen that in person and they look horrible personally, also they are just the side turn signal.
I want to see something similar to the hamburger made out of plastic or aluminum as a single piece.

I agree they do look horrible. I thought maybe you didn't know about them, my apologies. :tiphat:

Here is the new shift knob revision, compared to our first design, and the stock Nismo knob to give you a size comparison.

jk buddy ;)

SPOHN 11-16-2011 01:26 PM

I defiantly like the one on the far right.

kenchan 11-16-2011 01:36 PM

i like the one on the far left.... the blue is throwing things off....

somatic 11-16-2011 01:37 PM

ill say it again: AUTO SHIFT KNOB please :)

RoshDawg 11-16-2011 01:55 PM

Im not a fan of those side flanges or whatever you call them on the diffuser. It would look much better without them. Maybe offer an optional attachment?
And brake ducts would only be needed on the front correct?

SPOHN 11-16-2011 01:59 PM

^ I could see that. Are you referring to both of the diffiser I posted? But I'd like to have one solid piece for myself. I wouldnt trust an attachment on the side. That's why I'm fond of the Varis diffuser or the first pic I posted.

And yes the brake ducts are for only the front or needed for the front.

i want the side pieces on the rear diffuser but not in that folded rubber mat look. i want a solid CF piece there. this way it will match up nicely to the Ings+ side bits. :p

The Dimer 11-16-2011 02:29 PM

:iagree:

A) I think it would look better.
B) I plan on getting the Ings+1 stuff when I get the money and they don't have anything for the rear to finish off the look.

Alchemy 11-16-2011 02:43 PM

Oh, another thing I have interest in are some nice side mirrors:tup:

kenchan 11-16-2011 02:48 PM

yah, low profile CF side mirrors like the CraftsSquare but have electronics so that it can be remotely adjusted from the factory controls. that would be the schits.

not that my craftsquare mirrors needs much adjusting, just a nother cool feature to have.

Man, you're getting spoiled now! :rofl2:

The carbon stuff definitely more time consuming. Starts out clay modeling by hand.

Just to give you an idea, he is how we created our GT-R Dry Carbon Fiber Wide Fenders from start to finish.

More info on those knobs please... will you be offering your delrin/alum hybrid for those?

I have the white delrin PWJDM knob on my car right now and I love it. Would like something a little shorter though.

That looks really cool! I love the drawing on GT-R in the third pic :icon17:

Those aren't supposed to be on GTRs!

^_^

kenchan 11-16-2011 04:38 PM

they're using those just to get the feel, probably. :D only Econ uses wheels with yellow lips.
