Password:JDM wants your feedback! What parts would you like to see us make?
First of all, just wanted to say Password:JDM is now a proud sponsor of the370z.com!
We have just purchased a new 2011 370Z Nismo for our shop. We plan on offering the 370Z community a full line of Dry Caron Fiber / Carbon Kevlar parts for the 370z, along with an exhaust system, suspension components and more! We would like to get everyones feedback and opinions on what you would like to see us get to work on first? So lets hear it from you guys, the owners. Once we get a good idea of what the 370Z community really wants, we will start some R&D and get some great products in everyones hands  A little information about Password:JDM Password:JDM is recognized as an industry leader in the niche market known as JDM! To date, we have imported more JDM products by volume than the next 3 companies combined. We started life as a direct importer of new and used JDM products and have now become a full manufacturer of performance automotive aftermarket products as well. 90% of PWJDM products are produced inhouse here at our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Pico Rivera, CA. As a DIRECT IMPORTER of new and used JDM Honda and Nissan parts, engine/motor swaps, and quite possibly anything else born and bred JDM, our products remain "true to form" and reliable. To add onto your vehicle what the factory left out, we also choose to develop, concept, and manufacture all of our products in-house within our 10,000sq. ft. Pico Rivera, CA warehouse. Made in the USA. Please feel free to stop by and visit http://passwordjdm.com/images/370z/25.jpg |

I will get some new photos just for YOU today! |
sub'd and I'd like to see more variations of the shift knobs that you guys make, I like the style and I personally have one but I like the feel of the round knobs better. Suspension parts would be nice too as long as they don't cost an arm and a leg. Maybe end-links for sway bars, I know Whiteline makes the back set but not for the front. I've always liked the dry-carbon/kevlar covers that you guys made for the engine bay so keep up the good work!

First and foremost, please don't be like some of the other vendors that have come on here claiming there going to do things for us and then it doesn't happen. On any level at that. Then they need so many people before that even start production and even then it never makes it. I believe most just come here to sponsor for its a write off for them anyways.
But in all seriousness I'm looking for a great rear diffuser for our cars. I can send you pics of one I like the most. I'm looking to purchase a lip kit in CF first of the year. So if you could come up with something there it would be nice. I'd like to see some nice side skirts made. More of a squared look like Varis offers. |

yah, per above, CF rear diffuser would be cool... ones that actually extends behind the rear tires. we already have ones that just cover the center portion (like fujimura and fujimura copycat aka EvoR). not interested in those. |

If you're making suspension parts, how about some better front camber arms.
|
How about a heavier version of the PW:JDM shift knob you already have on offer?
|
a shift knob that works on autos :(

Im tired of having to fabricate something that looks hillbilly for a sophisticated car like the Z. Please take this into consideration. Thank you kindly, ~ The Z Community |
We are missing small attention to detail mods that pretty much don't exist.
How about a rear wing that is not ONLY beautiful to look at like the NISMO wing is, but it aso very functional at speeds over 140mph??? :) We need brake cooling solutions. How bout GTR style NACA ducts but ones that fit our hoods better. The actual gtr ducts are awkward and buying a new hood is risky... (fitment issues.) A nice fitting NACA duct would be great for engine cooling. For automatic owners. The shift area isn't the most attractive. How about a shift boot that doesn't look overdone for the auto. Nissan should have made the shift area closer to the G37. More solutions to modify our OEM steering wheel. I don't want an aftermarket cuz our hubs are hot but, I wish our wheels were thicker. Maybe a flatbottom version of the stock steering wheel Design a power module for a manual folding mirrors so it won't be so hard for us to get them? I don't really care about it but I keep reading many people wanting them. |
Any Engine cover to suit the cooling plate and engine compartment covers?
Also, hood dampers, cf floormats would be cool. Make sure to provide parts for both, the nismo and the normal Z cars Hope all goes well! |

^ I agree with everything that everyone has posted.
Brake Duct Functional Rear Diffuser besides the one that Evo-R offers (which I don't think it's functional at all) As far as the shift knob, I'd like the OEM Profile one with a round top rather then just a ball type knob. I really like the Tommy Kiara Hebbi Bebi? But I'm not gonna pay close to $300 for a knob lol...And please make it heavy like Phelan said, I want something that feels solid. |
I be interested in some of the following as long as they don't look "ricer":
CF Auto shift knob CF center console CF door inserts CF shift plate/surround CF rear diffuser Alcantara steering wheel Alcantara shift knob Alcantara/CF door inserts Alcantara knee pads Alcantara shift boot Alcantara console lid |

Here is a rear diffuser we have made for the S2000 in the past

that rear diffuser appears functional looks good!
also something like this (more of a comsetic thing) but not with the loopy folded rubbermat looking thing on the sides. i want just a flat piece there on both sides behind the rear tires. im looking or something that would be fluid with Ings+ side CF pieces. http://www.the370z.com/members/solis...icture-092.jpg who ever's picture this is, thanks for letting us use it... |
here's the ings+ side piece im referring to. for some reason ings does not offer a rear piece so their car/styling looks unfinished...

looks hard to make seeing that everyone has different exhaust options.

yah, i too would be intersted in the front CF brake ducts. maybe start with this first? :D

Im pretty much on the same page as these guys. Brake ducts would be great as would a rear diffuser. Shift knobs are always good as well. Somebody on pg1 suggested better fitting naca ducts, I like this too as I have actually been looking for some:tup:

I want a good brake duct design. But cost has to be a factor. Nothing CF. just not going to pay let's say $600 for them.
|
