It's not worth it to you, then fine. You want a race car and can build it cheaper, go ahead.

You want a spec racer straight from Nismo, this is the one, cough up the dough.

It would be WAY cheaper to buy a regular 370Z, remove the NAV, climate control, etc. and build it exactly to these specs. That's what Nissan did with this car. Nothing special.

This is for the rich guy that decides on Monday that he wants to go race in World Challenge on Friday. There's nothing wrong with that, but all I am saying is you could build the same thing for FAR less.
If your time and your friend's time is worth nothing, and you have convenient access to a shop, and can get in tuning time for free at the local track, sure.

Then I have question, do those BMW, CHEVY, FORD, CITROEN race in BTCC, WTCC and WRC worth their cost?

The BMW ONLY put a 320 in BTCC, can you mod a consumer 320i to that spec and beat those factory spec 320? I am pretty sure a street mod 320 will cost much less than buying a BTCC 320.

I am pretty sure you can put same or similar or even better adds-on to a consumer car, however, there are some reasond race teams will spend much more to buy a factory race car.

I'm pretty sure you can just buy a 335i, wave a magic wand, drive up to a BTCC race, lap the field 5-6 times, and take home the trophies and paddock girls.

Ah, guess that rule means you can't take the paddock girls then?

I don't know why anyone would consider this car for $150k? It only has 335 hp and I bet it is not even street legal. I can get a Porsche 911 Turbo for this price and it'd be a much better DD and you wouldn't have to worry about cops pulling you over for having an illegal car. And it'd be faster.

The brake ducts are worth the cost. That's gotta be at least a million dollars in R & D.

I like what they did to this, but seriously cost isn't justified on this one. I agree with earlier post of I would rather get a GTR or Porsche. Faster, and more dd friendly.

Anyone know what kind of brakes they put on it?
