I have a TWM Type R in silver. It's very nicely weighted and looks great but gets hot as a branding iron. It hasn't helped that we have had 50

I have a TWM Type R in silver. It's very nicely weighted and looks great but gets hot as a branding iron. It hasn't helped that we have had 50 some odd days over 100 F degrees (yesterday was 107 F). I think I have the shift pattern branded in the palm of my hand. I tried covering it up with a different types of cloth, but nothing seemed to make much difference. I finally discovered that if I parked facing south my sun shield kept the sun from shining directly on the metal all day. That did make some difference and it seemed to cool down faster.
