I grew my gray beard out so other drivers would not try to challenge an old man. Unfortunately my cars have extra window tinting and it's hard to see inside, except from the widshield.

TRUCKS! I don't know what it is about pickup trucks...maybe it is because they cost upwards of 60k now-a-days! (geesh) but it seems every country boy driving a newer pickup (doesn't matter which make/model) they ALL want to race me. I am from Kentucky so there are PLENTY of country boys in pickups that think they have the fastest vehicle on the road...trust me...they all seem to want to race me. I just don't get it...

You should see said pickup truck drivers try to keep up with you in the twisties when you have cold tires. They think they are doing something only to find out you are just putting along because when the tires get warm, you are gone.

This! I don’t get it either. I can’t drive 2 miles without some redneck kid in his pickem’ up truck tailgating at 85 MPH on the highways and wanting to race you at every stoplight.

They’ll be doing 25 MPH in a 50MPH zone, but as soon as you start to pass them, they Gun it and the race is on.

I call it little **** syndrome.

After I got laid off from my engineering job, I decided it would be cool to be a school bus driver until another job came along. When standing in the parking lot of the training facility, among other drivers, I heard one say to the others in a snooty voice "Anyone that drives a car like that shouldn't be taking our jobs, they already have too much money." What a bunch of losers.

Worked my college job and pizza delivery, raking in 60-80 hr weeks. Was able to purchase a new Kia Forte5 hatch, pre Z. Dumb, fun, little car, but NEW (used w/ 2k miles). So much hate from other delivery drivers and even customers like "Why do you even need this job?" It pays me money, duh! Worrying about me, when you should be worrying about you!

What a bunch of losers is right!

I will never forget the time that a Kia got behind me on the Tail of the Dragon, The other guys behind me said he like to have lost it twice in the first couple of turns. He was trying to keep up with me and it just about cost him.

Guy was driving a newer Lexus RC-F ($60K?)...double

Didn't do anything expect pull up beside him in traffic

When I had my 350z back in the day some old lady pulled up next to me and yelled out her window, 'nice midlife crisis car.'. I was 22 at the time and about half her age by the looks of it. People love to hate.
