Anyone with higher mileage with an earlier year (2009-2010) and manual transmission? Just wanted to get an idea of any synchro issues, if any, that you're having. Would like to know how long a properly cared for and driven 370z manual transmission would last for.

FWIW I know the CSC is the weak point of this drivetrain as well

hopefully 90ST will be back to chime in.

I think he's only done like belts, csc/msc, and some fluids. don't think he had any serious issues with anything really.

can't remember what page but he did mention all his major maintenance issues somewhere in here

The stock muffler exchanged at 130K around for some rattling noise.

Hey, Not on as much since selling my Z.
I started a problems after 200,000 miles thread a while back.
But long story short, as mentioned.
Belts and all fluids at 60k miles normal maintenance
The only real things were CSC and CMC a few times, aftermarket clutch set up needs a HD CSC.
BCM and front hubs not a big deal, and fuel sending unit (a few times).
SO as for a MT I did over 250,000 miles and the only tranny problems were the CSC and CMC, as we all know are sh1t.

Pretty impressive. It says a lot about how robust the manual tranny is. I've read about people having 5th gear grinding issues, so it's nice to know that aside from the CSC and CMC, yours has held up well.

synchro's or just the plates not matching up properly is usually the case.

i have a hard time getting into 1st/ 2nd and from 3rd to 2nd when tranny is cold.

it just means i shift like a great granny from. once fluids are warmed up there's no issues for me.

Not sure if it makes a huge difference, but I also ran Redline oil in everything...

My 40th currently sitting at 117890. Only thing I have ever done is oil change every 4k and bought new tires twice.

Only twice for your tire changes over 110K miles ? It seems good with that high durability.

What tires have you used so far ??

Its good to know that Nissan is keeping their Z reputation for reliability intact. I had 195K miles on my 350z before I crashed it (Construction truck hit me) in Feb 2016. The only issue I ever had was clutch replacement, window regulator passenger side, and the leaking oil into one cylinder issue (fixed under warranty). All in all, a very reliable car that I hated being totaled but I still love my 370ZR.

Since I don't have my Z anymore, and the guy never got back to me, who has the highest now?
