A couple years ago I got to drive a Z4 for a few days, so it was a couple model years back. It was a decent, fun little car, but not as confident-feeling as the Z in terms of road handling. Also, I hated the view from the cockpit. Something about your head being too low and the hood too long, etc. It was really hard to be comfortable knowing where the front corners of the car were, e.g. when parking or coming close to a curb in a corner. Maybe I would've gotten over that with more seat time though.
