Just lashing out at people and calling them "freaking dumb" without giving facts or examples to support your belief or discount theirs is immature, and speaks to your possible lack of intelligence and communication skills.

Everyone realizes it's a dual clutch transmission and not a slush box. It's just that alot of people prefer to row their own gears and press the clutch pedal. You would have realized this if you weren't so condescending.

I would get the GT-R without hesitation.

GTR's are relatively rare you don't see them on the road much less many people (non-enthusiasts)don't even know what they are when they do see them..personally I like the exclusivity and value they present over other super cars..if they were priced the same as a Z that would ALL go away I'm afraid..

Yep. Every once in a while I find myself looking up used GTR prices. I don't how I will stop myself from buying one when it's less than $40k.

There is a point when one must be blunt. If you call a GTR an automatic and discredit for that reason, you are in fact dumb. There is no term that would describe you best.

I careless what you think of my intelligence or lack of communication skills.

Does anyone recall when GTR was looked down upon for it's "weak transmission"

What if there were 2 GTRs...
first would be you basic GTR body with a TT and a 6 speed
and , we will call it a Phase II which is what is the normal GTR .. I think Nissan could sell that ...

Prior to the R35s the Skylines and GTRs were different trim levels of the same. Nissan made a decidsion to separate the two into 2 deferent lines. I don't see anything less than the GTR you see now and special editions coming out.

Don't fight it man, just pick one up and enjoy the hell out of it when you do.

Plus, it practical, it has back seats so you can take the kids and wifey along for the ride too.

PS--If I were you, I'd opt for the used GTR over a new GT500 'stang.

Yes no doubt, but in all reality with the price of the GTR not a chance. I would never spend 90G's on a nissan product. Not that nissan is a bad car by any means its just not a super car in my opinion.

GTR any day. honestly i think the new 2012 GTR is the best bang for your buck on the whole auto market right now.

80k for a 0-60 2.9 seconds, 1/4 mile like 11 something at like 122MPH. plus it handles like a dream. geez hard to believe its only 80k. and now they have the black edition.

well close its more like 91K and 97k MSRP for the 12's...but in one sense yeah its hard to call it a bang for the buck deal since almost 100K is alot of money no matter what your comparing it too...but stacked up against the competition is does seem like a hell of a deal

i still thinks its a deal for 100k. its a bang for your buck for the wealthier people. people who buy Zr1, R8, porsche, even ferraris and lambos.

i now see why my statement was kind of confusing. but ya for wealthy people its the best bang for there buck.
