Not impressed with the seats

My base seats are a bit too narrow and a bit too firm (or insufficiently padded). I don't think it's a matter of price though, as my wife's Prius seats

My base seats are a bit too narrow and a bit too firm (or insufficiently padded). I don't think it's a matter of price though, as my wife's Prius seats are much wider and infinitely better padded and more comfortable. But I have no real problem with them. Got them reupholstered with beautiful red and black Katzkin perforated leather.

No, diet wouldn't be necessary if it were true.

The base seets feel a bit more supportive than the touring seats. Marginal difference but a difference. I'll trade my Nismo seats for leathers tho!

Weight loss can sometimes help them to fit better.

Are you picking a fight with the user base? Seems like it to me. If all you wanted to do was start a thread to discuss the comfort level of your seats, you don't need to goad or antagonize the part of the community that will flame you. It seems like you have another agenda.

It was a joke man. If you would have spent some time looking around on here before hopping on bashing a community that is here because they all own the same thing you are bashing, you probably would have gotten the joke.

I found the seats were more comfortable on my thighs if I raised up the rear of the bottom seat cushion as high as it would go so I was sitting on more of a flat surface.....instead of having the back of the bottom seat cushion lower than my thighs. This made a rather large difference in comfort for me, as the side bolsters don't bother me quite as much now...

Evil Sports: It seems like your intention with this post, and with your responses, is just to piss people off. You didn't even mention what kind of seats you have or how they are different than what you had in your other cars (other than "cheap and narrow"). You have provided little useful information and have wasted everyone's time. Good job.

Back on topic - I like my touring seats a lot, and they fit me perfectly, but I haven't tried the seats in a modern Audi or Lexus.
