Default Replacing Nismo seats with Touring seats

I was wondering if anybody on here has replaced their nismo seats with the Touring seats so you can have the cooling, heating and electric functions? Not even sure if it can be done but I would love to do that. I would think that the wiring would still be under the carpet so you could just plug into?

I would think so too. Vert seats are cooler though.

The wiring harnesses should be the same however there may not be fuses in the fuse box for them. A lot of times manufacturers will delete the fuse to disconnect the circuit in a different trim.

I for one don't like my Touring seats. If I found a local Nismo I'd swap them out in a heartbeat.

I did a lot of studying of the service manual diagrams in the past to do this and the only possible way to do this is to custom wire all of the power seat functions. The base has no harness I believe so everything would have to be wired, fused, grounded, ran, hidden, etc, etc etc. Many other have opted for custom leather re-upholstery, some with decent results.

They also weigh a good 15-20 pounds more than the Touring seats, although I agree they look the best by far!
