I'm guessing everything but the oil cooler would probably still need to be done for the C6 GS? I noticed the GS doesn't have SS Brake lines (not sure about clutch line?). Any other obvious weak points like this that should be addressed before tracking?
Regarding the Z06: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...-question.html

no reason for brakes, coil overs or any suspension. It will take you 3+ years of experience and being well into intermediate run groups to even be able to use them. I know instructors in stock cars that can out run advanced students with highly prepped cars. Driving experience and safety are the key.

DO however change your brake fluid to a high temp fluid like Motul.
^The above post was made by someone who does HPDE's, and LG Motorsports +1'ed it. Another vendor said pads + SS brake lines. Remember though, that is a VENDOR. They SELL things.

I have not yet seen a thread specific for the GS.

The GS gets larger rotors, and all the coolers, and a dry-sump if you get a manual, but it has smaller pads than the Z06. The larger rotors just take longer to heat-soak, but the Z06 brakes are better by far from what I have read from people who swapped Z51 brakes for the Z06 brakes.
