It kind of depends on how much gas is in the tank. A full box works with about a half tank of gas, according to the 'testing' we did out in the desert...

I'm surprised we didn't blow ourselves up..

All time best is grenade with rubber bands around the spoon, pin pulled and dropped in the tank. Of course, the old vehicles with the 5" tank opening made this easy peasy...
