The OP states an ambient temp of 45°F. That's hardly warm enough to get the tires up temp much less the oil unless you're doing burnouts and driving around in 2nd gear.
It's 41° here today, and a spirited romp around my local twisties produced oil temps around 180°. The OP should come back and report when it's 90° where he lives.
