I am an installer and do insurance jobs all of the time. I have yet to see any insurance company not cover it as it is part of the car.

I am an installer and do insurance jobs all of the time. I have yet to see any insurance company not cover it as it is part of the car. I usually bump of the quote a little on the re-install and then give some money back to the owner to help cover the deductable.
