Default clear bras are sheets of clear laminate film?

"Clear bras are sheets of clear laminate film"?

I should be taking ownership of a NISMO later this week. I'm amped.

I was hit and it totaled my '95 300Z last week. That car had a textured undercoating on the rocker panels and lower front nose. Does this clear laminate serve the same purpose? If not, is there something that is recommended to do the same thing. I fully expect to have the NISMO for the next 10 - 15 years, and would really like to keep it looking nice.

Thanks in Advance!!!!

Yes it is a clear film that is applied on top of the clear coat on your car. Keep in mind that the film will change color over years of exposure to the sun. Your car will have a two tone look after about 10-15 years as the surfaces will not have the same exposure. Clear bra is to protect against rock chips due to driving the car.

If he keeps the car for that long, however the one I have has 5 yrs of warranty nationwide against peeeling, yellowish, etc..

Sorry about the Z32 but CONGRATS!

Do it! Worth every penny... and if I have to peel it off and do it again in 5 years after my warranty runs out, it will be worth every penny again! I hate rock chips and most people can't even tell it's installed.

The VentureShield brand has a lifetime warranty against those same sort of things. Pretty awesome.

I wouldn't do it, you can usually see a straight, faint line across your front hood where
it doesn't belong, and when/if you wax the car it leaves a line from the wax collecting
on the line. Just wash your car regularly to keep it nice

That's why you do the entire hood.

3M now owns VentureShield, so if you can get 3M you should be able to get VentureShield. $600 for just bumper or also 1/3 hood? It sounds a bit pricey, but then again, maybe not for Dubai.

Just the bumper, and with 8" of hood, small pieces on fender the price goes upto 1k
