2. The camaro with a simple intake exhaust and tune that costs around $1400 total will net you quarter times in the 12.5 range and that doesn't include headers or other mods to the engine and tranny. The Z mod parts cost double for half the power and acceleration. 3. Looks are subjective. And who puts louvers and crap on cars anymore??? That's mulletastic. The Z is a superior handler but the 2 cars serve 2 different purposes. 4.4100 lb convertible... well there are only a handful of true performance convertibles. Most convertibles I consider them to be novelty cars anyway, not true sports cars in most cases. Either way you gotta give chevy credit cuz they only lost 1/10th of a second making the convert. Whenever I rent the camaro SS I get around 20mpg. I rent the auto. And I beat it up since its a rental. Lol. The camaro has its issues and its a hard sale for me as well but 2012 is sounding good woth hp bumps and I personally think the camaro is cool but I do love the Z over the camaro. As it stands today my money would still go to the Z. Last edited by UNKNOWN_370; 02-27-2011 at 11:20 AM. |
