Z noise is normal, the 370z offends slightly worse then the 350z. I can tell you this though I work for BMW as a tech, you coming from a E46

Z noise is normal, the 370z offends slightly worse then the 350z. I can tell you this though I work for BMW as a tech, you coming from a E46 to a 370z the biggest differences will be a tighter/better handling and way more power then the M54B30 could muster. Biggest drawbacks would be overall visibility outside of the car and yes, it is obnoxiously noisy when driven 45+mph from road noise. This is corrected simply with a nice stereo system and exhaust. But most importantly, It aint a Bimmer, dont expect it to be quiet like one.
