Bone stock these cars are, if anything, way too quiet IMO.

I have a feeling yours has either test pipes (especially if a used Z from FL) or high flow cats and that's why it's so noisy. Does it sound especially raspy around 2500 RPM?

The car is stock and I plan it keep it that way so the warranty is not voided.
The only modification I'd like to do is adding a oil cooler for precautionary measures.

I woke up this morning and all I can think about is driving somewhere.

Also does anyone know if the hankook v12 tires are pretty good to run on this car? The guy before me said the car is on it's 3rd pair of rear tires!!!

That's a good mod if you plan on keeping it stock.

I know, it's crazy how every morning you just can't wait to take her out!

The Hankook V12's are very good on this car, especially just on the streets, but they arn't the best for tracks though.

The Z aint no BMW in terms of refinement and noise. Its a more purpose built sports car than even the 350 Z was.

If not voiding the warranty is your rationale behind not modding the car but you're gonna do an oil cooler, you might as well do a cat-back, too, and really enjoy the way your car sounds!

What tires are on the car? A nice set of new tires will probably make you much happier in the noise department. If it's the stock tires they are loud. Much better can be had for grip and low noise. But I do see people not wanting to spend money so they put a stupid cheap crappy tire on the car and that may be your complaint with it.

The car handles amazingly and has tons of power, but its just so loud and harsh.

I keep thinking its like a bad tranny or clutch.

The car is a 09' with 27k miles on it and has sports package.
Oh give me a break. I do not own a 370 but I have a driven a few. People like you bother me, you winge and complain about things that do not merit complaining about. It is a sports car mate as opposed to your cruise BMW. Get over it and enjoy the 370 or go buy another snoozemobile!~ "incredibly loud, harsh suspension, and sensitive clutch"?? C'mon.

I ******* love my Z. And I ******* love my 330ci. I understand that they are different kinds of cars and love them for what they are.

Douchebag.
Do you take lessons in how to be rude and obnoxious or does it just come naturally? There are many many professional reviewers that agree the car is too noisy and they are posted under the thread Cabin Noise.. I will repost them if that is permissible under the rules.. Meanwhile I think that calling someone a douchebag is wrong and I would ask others to comment on this name calling as well.
