Lower back hurts riding in the Z?

Sometimes back pain is caused by weak abs. A tight core can do wonders for back pain.

I have 2 messed up discs in my spine and arthritis in my spine and driving the 370Z less than an hour actually helps my back pain. More than an hour and it begins to get pretty sore.

Consider yourself lucky. Try driving a nismo down a concrete interstate. You'll be wanting out of that thing quick. Or just drive about a 120 and it all goes smooth from there on.

Many other cars I've driven for periods longer than an hour made me sore. The Z doesn't give me that problem. I find that reclining the seat slightly to avoid making me sit perpendicular to gravity alleviates any back discomfort. I'm in good shape, so it's definitely not my having to do with being in shape, I guess.

OMG! It is amazing how many "young" people nowadays complain about things. I don't know what has become of men today. It seems like women have succeeded in feminizing them.
And please no jokes re MX5 being a ladies car cause i can tell you it aint. I love the Zed and has anyone noticed how many ladies drive slk, tt etc?

C'mon guys be men not girly boys and the advice re strentghing your core muscles is right. Hit the gym.

Basically it was me taking large doses of aleve (the generic form). I think it was equivelent to 2 or 3 aleve every 4 hours for several days until my problems went away.

I originally took some ibprofin but I was told by the doctor that for back pain like I was having I really needed to be taking atleast 4 at a time every 4 hours.

When I get home I can maybe look exactly what the prescription was but it was something I could get over the counter.

so i did some stretches today and also noticed a lever on the right side of the seat, near the center console. didn't see that before and pulled it down and realized it was a secondary lumbar support. my back didn't bother me today so i think that fixed it. not sure how i didn't see it before but i think the problem is solved.
