What I don't get is why this asshat was doing 80 mph on the right lane. If you're going to go all out, do so on the left most lane.

If you're going to go all out, do so on the left most lane. That's why I'm in favor of surveillance cameras. Every time I get on the free way, so jerk pulls something like this that puts everyone in danger. You did the right thing in avoiding the hit. Glad to hear you're alright. Would you consider getting a new BMW 1M series? Supposedly it offers M3 performance at a fraction of the cost. Martin
