the blind test driver is a comedian friend of Adam Ferrara. Having a drift compitition with Tanner against 2 non competition drivers wouldn't be fair at all. Adam ferrara is a stand up comedian and the bearded guy is some journalist if I remember right. The show is more based on color commentary than the actual cars. The Brittish show is much better but I am going to give the US version a little time to settle out the kinks. It takes time to build chemistry and figure out who needs to do what segments.

The bearded guy, Rutledge Wood, is a moron who used to work for Speed channel as one of their NASCAR pre-race show people, except he wasn't actually one of the analysts or reporters... just a guy they paid to make a fool out of himself in "entertaining" filler segments. He basically has no credible background to support his doing anything on television under any circumstance. Ever.
