Roadsters look rushed.... like they forgot to install the roof.

How is the headspace, blind-spots on the coupe vs roadster with the top up. And storage space with the top down. Enough for a suitcase

Is the roadster a lot noisier with the top up. Also heard of some complaints with the mechanicals on the soft top. Is this a big issue

We one one of each. The seats recline back more in my 40th over my wife's roadster. The roadster is much loader...with the top up you get wind noise.

I am 5'10.5" and can't drive a roadster for crap. THe seat won't go back far enough to make the clutch comfy.

I am 6'1" and I don't have any issues with leg room or head room.

I will throw my 2 cents in (I am sure that's about what they are worth). I didn't buy the roadster for a track car. If I was looking for a track car, I would have purcased a coupe. My Z32TT is my track car and I have put a lot into making it fast and it is. That being said, the 370R is still a sports car and can be driven like one regardless of what others have implied. The chassis is pleny stiff enough for that.

Soon, I will start mods on the ZR and I am sure she will take them as happily as the coupes. The first of which will be my xmas. Eventually, there will be a TT kit in her future.

I have 7500 miles on her since July and at least half of them have been topless. Wouldn't have it any other way. Albiet, if I want to drive 160 with the wind in my hair, I'll drive the fast car with the T-Tops out. (that sounds like you are in a helicopter, btw)

Test drive both of them. That way you get a feel of what you like best.

You don't loose have your storage though probably only ~1/3 or so. I haven't had any issues with my roof, I've put mine down almost every day since I've had it. I've seen a few posts on here about problems but it seems the majority is fine.

If your not sure you'll have to drive them both, check out the roof and the mechanics and look for any signs of wear or rubbing. Put it down an make sure it opens and closes evenly and smoothly, etc.

Test drive both, and decide for yourself what best fits your lifestyle?
I prefer the coupe, Roadsters nice but not for me.

Bah, the coupe guys are just jealous they bought their coupes before the roadsters came out in 2010. Get the roadster.

The bottom line is that a sportscar should have a top permanantly fixed to it. Now if you want to get say, a cute little VW Beetle, then go ahead... let the wind flow through your hair.

Does any one have any idea how much it would cost to replace the rag top on a 370? if some one takes a knife too it.

A member who is currently having major issues with their roof was quoted $11,000 dollars to replace the roof!

I'd be willing to bet that's for the harware and the cloth top. I had a bolt strip out on my 350Z top (slightly different than the 370Z top) and Nissan quoted me $8,000.00 to replace the bolt. This was because they didn't sell the bolt without the entire top kit.... stupid I know.

I did have my top replaced on my 350Z and it cost me around $2,300.00 for a job well done. I suspect the 370Z top replacement is going to run you a few more bucks.
