^^ while i agree with what papo is saying.. No one is really bitching, but discussing our deceptive power band, and cars that you wanted that are faster. But you settled on the Z, and why? It has been a fun discussion, and i think we can all agree that the Z is undeniably a bargain for what you get.

drove my mom's 2011 shelby gt500 yesterday for about an hour and the z feels like a versa. maybe i should go borrow someones 4banger so i can make my car feel fast again.

I think with some of these cars the sensation of speed is different, the Z is so low to the ground and handles so well that sometimes you don't realize how fast you are going. |

![]() You have to pay attn to the speedo in this car. It is deceptively fast. Very easy to trick the butt dyno. The Mazdaspeed3, on the other hand, actually has more torque than the Z. It's not quite as fast, but you feel a tug in your lumbar region with every shift. |
