I can't get past the heft. It's so freakin' heavy!
![]() I read the thread on the Camaro forum, talking about how the Z and the Chevy weren't really competitors, and I gotta say I agree, but from the opposite angle. Since I want a straight up, no nonsense sports car, I'd NEVER cross shop a vehicle closing in on two tons that needs a monster motor to maintain some semblance of good power/weight. Ick. So it'll get good acceleration numbers. So what? What happens when you get into a tight canyon run or a twisty road course? Think about the transient response. Will the brakes and suspension damping be able to cope with all that mass? I highly doubt it. S.
