I don't get the 2004.5 joke.. Anyone care to fill me in?

Anyway, I hate to be rude but Nizmoz you are coming off VERY annoying.. I like how you find the top of the line, modded, cleanest, best looking 300zx out there to show off when the majority of Z32's are Non turbo, ugly exotic car wannabe looking cars that are run down ghetto POS.. I mean look at that front end, it looks like its got down syndrome (No offense to anyone). The car only looks cool as a whole, if you look at it from each angle alone its freaking ugly. Its was a nice car when I was 14.

By the way, T-Tops are pretty retarded and very redneck IMO.. My brother had it in his 98 firebird and it was just... GAY. A targa would have been damn sexy.

The "epic" Z32 is stuck in the middle.. No mans land.. It will never be a supra/skyline, ever so it gets compared to cars of lesser value and performance.

Please don't get me wrong, it was pretty sweet for its time. TT is sick for sure, but its ooold and dated.. Things change for the better. Nissan's NA motor makes more power than the TT motor.. If nissan made the 370z a TT it would cream the 300zx.

I'm assuming you are trying to save money by getting a 300ZX TT? But as TJ said, you are going to be hard pressed to find a 300ZX TT in good shape for under $17K. Then you have to think about the maintenance on a 20 year old car.
IMO you are better off sticking with the 370z.

I sure as hell wouldn't trade a new car for one a decade and a half old, not unless I wanted to spend a lot of time under it instead of in it.

I love my 300zx and my 370z Nismo. road wish I enjoy driving my Nismo better. But straight line 300zx wins! But keep in mind you cant let your 300zx sit for a long time or you will start having problems with your injectors. Also if you cant do your own engine work due to tools or know how, go ahead and put $1000 down for labor charge on a TT. Just deside what you like more. Both cars are worth ever penny you put in them!

True Z Owners are people who have been into Z cars for years and owned multiple Z cars. I am not talking about new owners of a Z car like the 370z that have only had that car. Because those people will be biased towards THEIR car only and not the previous generations of all the Z's. For that matter, some weren't born when the Z32 came out that might own the 370z.

The 370z is nice, but IMHO, and many will agree with it as they have at many conventions, the Z32 is the cream of the crop. Reason why they are in high demand for TT models now and the prices for one are higher than they should be. Kinda like the Toyota Supra.

Yet when I talk to older Z owners, who have owned over the years and have gone through the many ranks (240-260-etc) all fall back onto the 240z and say the 300 is nice but really not a true Z. Many say it lacked what made a Z a Z, yes the 300 was fast and had a TT from factory, but it missed the mark on style, exterior & interior. They took some pieces out of the equation to make the 300 and it turned out to be a great car but lost much of its heritage to the Z.
