I am so glad the Stangs are back on top. Makes me remember when I was a kid and envied one of my mother's friend's son with his black 5.0. That thing would eat Camaros all day and night. We actually saw him street racing once downtown when we were coming back from an event my dad was being honored yet. My parents are so cool, they did not snitch on him. Great.

That said, I just watched that vid from a few pages back. That Evolution Performance Stang is Armageddon. Just sick. Red and M4A1, when are you doing that to your 5.0's???!!?! Dont S/C them, keep them N/A!!!! I still go to most of the professional drag events at Firebird Raceway with my dad. I can't wait to watch some of those 5.0's bad boys running. DANG I can't wait.

And the Juke is cool. I thought about getting one for my DD, but I think I will pay my wife's CX7 off and get her a CX9. I will keep the CX7 as a DD and tune it!! AWD and the MS3 motor baby!!! I just have to shampoo the seats due to my darn girls putting their feet on them. No biggie. Late!!

Dont get me wrong, theres nothing like the throttle response of an all N/A high power beast under the hood, but to build and stroke the motor, it'll end up costing about the same as a Kenne Bell kit, which I plan on adding shortly after arriving in Germany (cant do it before because it wont pass european emissions testing). I'm going to have my fun with it, believe that, but its also going to be a full weight DD as well and a weekend warrior from time to time. And I agree, i'm liking the rekindling of this muscle car war, wish my dad was still around to see how everything is turning out.

I hear ya Red... Well, if you are going F/I, Kenne Bell is the way to go!! I miss that most from my Stang days.

Sorry about your father. I guess you have to live it up in double portion for him!! Man Up (like I had to tell you that....).

And you are correct about the new Challenger. It MAY give the GT and SS some iritation, but I doubt it....

It looks so weird without a STB.

My next car will be the mustang. Lots of aftermarket parts . Superchargers with big horse power. No ecu problems for tuning.
it cost big $ to make the 370 z go fast,
I love my Z but the mustang look great.
Last time at the track i saw an 2010 or 11 SC mustang go 10.8 @ 140.
Did it sound mean. It had a few bolts on and a nice set of rear rims and drag radials.

you bitch! LOL. But yea it will probably be my next car if its not too expensive. The Z is a nice car and quick but I want that raw power the vettes have. But Im sure I will make some vette owners mad as I will use the power of them unlike alot I saw in the vette forum.

I'm wondering if they're going to keep the classic styling with the flared front fender wells, I always loved that look.

I learned a new fun fact about the 5.0L Mustang:
CO2 emissions 0.96 lb/mile

Where the Z has:
CO2 emissions 0.93 lb/mile

Take that.
