Default Consumer Reports 370Z Rating

I just purchased a CR login to check out refrigerators and decided to look at what they say about our cars. Overall, pretty impressive. I also thought the reliability reviews of previous model years was worth a look. Hopefully the 370Z transmission follows the 2008 more than the previous years (or the 2008s just haven't had enough time to fall apart yet!)

The lows are things that I would not consider a problem or a low in the slightest.

Agreed. To say the ride is a problem is like buying a Harley and then saying it's too windy. I wrote my own review just now to set things a bit straighter. My gripes would be mainly engine NVH above 5k rpm and too quiet of a factory exhaust.

Bang for the buck, nothing touches this car.

Nice to see a positive review. IMO Consumer Reports doesn't know squat about how to evaluate car that isn't supposed to be a high MPG box of boring on wheels.

Although they always seem to like the Miata. Probably because of the doors.

If Consumer Reports, came into this site, and read the various complaints. That are posted by the owners! Their evaluation of the 370 would be negative!

^^ when somethings good, you sit in your garage drinking beers admiring the car.

when somethings wrong, you go online and complain - hoping something has a solution.

good report...but we had 370z's in 08?? (the model year, not actual year)

There are no perfect cars in this world. I could tell you a few things I don't like about a lambo, Aston Martin etc. And someone will always express this over the internet
