I just don't get why people need to buy SUV's.
She has an SUV, sure. But personally, I couldn't imagine, even with only 1 kid (which we plan on having VERY soon) that anytime the 3 of us need to do anything, we need to use her SUV. She can't drive stick, so that means we'd never be able to switch cars. If she needed to go out of town and I needed to grocery shop with the kid in tow, etc., etc. Just didn't make sense to me. And as I've said, I've always wanted an avalanche. I'm sad about the Z but stoked about the truck at the same time!

What? You contemplate switching cars? Well maybe your wife is car sympathetic, cause my wife is surely not and that is why i do not swap with her. Best of luck to ya.

Not permamently, but let's say I needed to transport kids/cargo/etc somewhere while she was at work. If I kept the Z, it wouldn't be possible because she can't drive manual. Now, under any circumstance, either one of us can drive the other car.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Note, I'm not going anywhere...this forum is a lot of fun!

You should of got an Infinitiy G37S. Thats what I would of done.

But I hear ya on the having extra room for cargo etc. That is why I still have my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo 4X4 thats paid off. Sure helps having a SUV.
