I read it some where, but that is now proved incorrect!

Wow -- I can't believe how many folks have had their wheels stollen

Jeez... I think I need to invest in some wheel locks.

and keep the door closed.

i have this frikken indian neighbor down the street who occasionally walks into my garage with no 'hello or excuse me, or may i come in' or anything despite the numerous times i told him not to walk in without saying something. was working on my car today with the garage door open (needed the sunlight to see my work) and i noticed my ADT triggered that something entered the garage so i got out of my car and looked around, sure enough the obnoxious chicken tikka masala was in my garage looking around again. wtf.

Insurance came by today. I'm thinking about buying 5 sets of wheel locks instead of lug nuts.. but if any one had the the Nissan key they would be able to take the lugs off right? It doesn't seem like Nissan manufactures unique designs on their wheel locks.

I guess I should be a little paranoid about this. I park in a gated parking deck with security cameras in certain areas especially the entrances and exits. Everytime I come home late I always see security patrolling the deck on foot. I didn't think the area is all that bad but I guess its better to be safe than sorry. If it were to happen it would be either by somebody that lives there or somebody that knows somebody that lives there and lets them in. Either way it would be pretty messed up.

So I found a old wide angle mirror and nuvi mount and made a security mirror.

There's only one sure say to keep your wheels safe if you park on the street. Unfortunately it's very costly (for all 4 wheels) and labor intensive...
