Mine is usually on. The last week or so I've turned it off periodically as I'd like to think I can heel-toe still. Also, my exhaust gives some since burlbes on the decel when SRM is off, most likely because I'm letting the revs drop more than SRM does. It's audibly pleasant but I can't match SRM for consistency (who really can?). So, it's back on now. I will say that it's an absolute pleasure to heel-toe yourself and get the shift perfect.
