I went back to make sure nobody else had this idea before I stated same. Good thoughts.

The brakes are on my target list too. Oil cooler is perfect for the man who stays in second gear around the course. It is my first mod and highly recommended. Sways are inexpensive for the gain. I love the rock solid feeling.

I want to find an auto cross event around here. I am sure they exist.

Good on you for going "D".

Thanks for the input everyone
Luna, my car def isnt winning any shows, esp w the rock chips on my nose. Its a performer not a beauty queen

Red, I figured the oil cooler wasnt necessary for the Dragon, its just something I feel I should do

Im very interested in sways cause itll finish up my suspension work. Anybody here running sways? If so which ones and impressions?? Im kinda leaning toward Whitelines.

No Z action today. Helping my sister move into her new house. Drove my moms Wrangler(6MT) and laughed at how easy it is to drive compared to our Z's. Feels like it would be impossible to stall or buck the car.

Kewl spohn. Hope to attend the event next year if they allow verts on the track again. They posted just Fri. that they would be allowed this year. Any vert incidents that you know of?

None that I saw or heard. They just weren't allowed to get on the banking of the track. Understandable.

motored my z this am and took some snaps of the ET33 upfront. car is very neutral now on the turns. i can induce over steer mid-turn as needed.

and didn't get rained on. radar + barometric pressure reading = better forecasting than local weather.

Thanks Spohn. Hope ya had a good time. Well as far as the no high banks thing I disagree but WTH are ya goin to do? As I told a frightened "instructor" at Watkins Glen that I met in Carlisle if you don't do anything that might possibly carry a risk you might as well stop living. Actually I told him he should give up walking cause he could get hit crossing the street. But whatever. They haven't proved that the car is any more of a rollover risk than the coupe. I do plan to attend next year if they keep the current policy of allowing verts even if it is off the high banks. I ain't scared.

It's not that it has a higher rollover risk, but rather that it has a higher rollover consequence.
Miatas aren't allowed at most track events unless they have a hardtop or SCCA road race legal rollbar.
