i have their little 12v driver and it's powerful for such a small drive. :) ive been using my milwaukee 18v compact driver but the makita 12v can pretty much handle most tasks as long as it's not a long project. and it's small so great for car interior projects. |

Not a damn thing today or tomorrow. Post-Hurricane cleaning the backyard and house...I'm freaking tired and still have more to do tomorrow and Monday.

Hey everyone!!! Hope everyone had a great Z day. Put almost 500 miles on the roadster today. Perfect top down day but I am exhausted. We went to watch my daughter play vball at GMU. They won both matches today. I am too exhausted to even read the posts above...:ugh2: I will catch up tomorrow.

same here Beach... too many posts too fast! :)
Tomorrow or maybe labor day, I plan to change her oil for the 2nd time. Amsoil FTW! |

Good Sunday, Mr. Kenchan!!! :tiphat: |
So I didn't really get a chance to post at all in depth since I got my exhaust. One thing about it that I'm curious about.
The new Berk units are supposed to be made with adjustable tips. Mine came with tips welded, not adjustable. So did Berk go back after all the complaining about protruding, uneven tips that the owner needs to cut in order to fit properly? Or did I get inventory from the prior batch? Honestly, I don't care, the exhaust sounds amazing and fitment was 100% perfect, tips aren't too tucked and don't stick out too much either. |
OK guys, here is the deal... I composed and responded to a bunch of posts Friday morning and apparently forgot to submit. :shakes head: I went back hours later to find that my post hadn't been posted. My day was so hectic that I didn't bet back to it and yesterday we were on the road all day.
Anyway, while we were driving to GMU, we passed a building that I thought would make a great shot background. After about five miles, I couldn't stand it and had to drive back. We were in a hurry cause we were running late as always, but my wife is a great sport. I only took 6 shot with no setup but we will be going back to this place for a proper shoot sometime soon. http://i909.photobucket.com/albums/a...m/RWM_9376.jpg http://i909.photobucket.com/albums/a...m/RWM_9380.jpg http://i909.photobucket.com/albums/a...m/RWM_9378.jpg |
Nice shots Beach! I wish we had some graffiti like that!!! :D What editing tool do you use btw?
Z activities for me today: Got up at 5:30 am to change my oil! Used Amsoil 5w-30, about 5-1/4 qts, filled to the dot by the "H". Official mileage: 2463. I sure hope Amsoil helps with oil temps. Maybe bring it down to 220 tops? or maybe even 215? Anyone here can vouche for the Amsoil oil temps? Btw, do you guys remember my post about that strap wrench that worked wonders on my stock shift knob removal? Well, I officially REALLY love that thing... esp for removing the oil filter. Paired with my cordless 18V drill with 10mm socket, plus my 1/2 drive and 14mm, I got my oil change done in about 45 mins! woot woot. Z is now officially ready for my date with my wife today! Perfect weather here today, 72 for a high, babysitter coming at 12:30! woootwoooooot..... might go watch Apollo 18. |
G2Z
What temps are you seeing now for normal driving? I'm using Agip synthetic in my Z and my temps are below 220 for normal driving(lower than original oil from Nissan). |
