in other news... hey, sold the flatstoppers already to a member!

Having the time off is painful to say the least. But you're right, it def makes me appreciate when I get to drive it come spring. Something to look forward to. What mods u thinkin bout Ken? I plan on stayin N/A so Im contimplating how to get more power outta her that way. I def wanna do a few little visual mods I never got to do, GTR start, rear fog, shift knob. I also like your mirrors and would like to do something w mine. Oh and a ducktail spoiler! Lol sounds like I already have my list:icon17:

Has anyone here installed a short shifter?? Ive heard it can actually hurt the trans. I dont mind my throw as it is but it wouldnt hurt to shorten it up a bit. Thoughts?

I did the short shifter thing. I have never heard about transmission damage though.

Anyway, besides occasional buzzing at high rpms, I like it quite a bit -- it improves the throw/feel/speed quite a bit.

I heard it can put more force on the fork, or something to that effect. I forget. Read it somewhere on here. I had never heard that before either. I take it you are using the B&M?

Will RAE work for 2009?

Where are you riding this season? It would be sick to meet up with some of the group members for some slope time and thereafter drinks!

hahahaha. im good with the power the Z provides now although sometimes i wish for more. it's more fun to drive a quick car fast than a fast car slow.

im not a big fan of short shifters. i think the stock box is fine, feels better with just the Nismo knob though.

my mods for next year is pretty simple. i'll do something with the wheels and maybe wire up some polk components finally. if i end up with a tad more aggressive offset for the front i have the JNext fender trim on order so i might/might not decide to use them.

Wow.. I get busy for 2 days and I miss out on 4 pages...lol.

Ken glad u sold ur racestoppers. I have stored my toy cars in the winters for the past 9 years by doing nothing except a simple oil change before storage. Then once the first snow hits, she just stays parked. Gets started once or twice a month then rolled around in garage. No flat spots in tires or any need for fuel stabil. Is fuel stabil even necessary? Oh also she gets trickle charged all winter.

Z wise today, drove her then will get her prepped for tomorrows last big car show for the season.

Painted my emblems & door handles. Actually, I did this on Monday, but I had no time to upload photos.

Curious to see how the handles hold up. I saw a 350 with painted handles and the paint was scratched away quite a bit.

Yeah, I'm not too sure how long the paint will hold up either, I just really like how it looks. My girlfriend has long nails & probably will be the reason they're gonna get scratched up. I'm just glad it's reversible.
