Thanks G2Z! It was just fortunate that we found it. It is a motorcycle shop on a back country road. :) I use Adobe Lightroom for about 90% of my shots. Unless I am removing something or composing a layered image. Then I use Photoshop (I am lacking in Photoshop skills!)

I have a rubber strap wrench and thought it would be perfect for that. I can't remeber what I bought it for.

Hope you and the wife have and awesome date!!!

What temps are you seeing now for normal driving?

I'm using Agip synthetic in my Z and my temps are below 220 for normal driving(lower than original oil from Nissan).

Hi Nick...

Agip Synthetic? I have not heard of that?!?!?!?! Yeah, I already changed my oil once so far, and this is my 2nd one. The first time, I had Mobil 1. I used to love it, but it's junk now that I have done more research. Plus they changed their formula so it's not fully synthetic...boo. So with Mobil 1, I was seeing temps in the 220-225 range in normal driving, about 80 degrees ambient. At one point, I saw 230. Normal, yes, but desired? no. So I am hoping, since Amsoil is touted as THE best fully sythetic oil out there, I get some oil temp relief...and hopefully help with overall lubrication and maybe even reduce slight oil consumption.

I have to get me Adobe lightroom and photoshop. So expensive tho! :( But yeah, I think you got the strap wrench for the shift knob too maybe? Or maybe for oil filters indeed? Yeah, I even used it on my oil cap (which somehow, I tightened too hard by hand... lol), and worked like a charm. Then yesterday, wife needed to open a jar of artichokes, and called upon my massive (read: skinny) biceps, so then I called upon my strap wrench! She goes "Omg... what is THAT?"... I told her to watch and learn :happydance:

I've found pretty much any good synthetic drops temps by 10-15 degrees vs the ester oil. I personally run GC, and the difference is awesome.

The heat properties of the Nissan oil are horrendous compared to pretty much any commercial available oil, and I highly recommend anyone still running it switches to the synthetic of their choosing immediately.

Took my girl to our favorite Italian restaurant.

She doesn't get to ride in the Z much. Her 6 year old is usually my copilot. :D

It was HOT yesterday and every time I would come to a light, the AC would cut out. Then it started to rain. Not a good combo when it is almost 100 degrees out.

Then as we are waiting for a table, the lights in the restaurant started to dim. Never lost power but I was starting to wonder if someone was trying to tell me something about what I had planned.

This restaurant is special as it was the place of our first date. Well now it's even more special because she said yes! :happydance:

GC is german castrol. Their 0W-30 mix is full synthetic, made in germany. Far superior to the other castrol oils we can buy here.

I see 200-210 cruising on the highway, with ester I saw 215+. Under harder driver is where the notable difference was-- I clipped limp mode on the dragon with Ester oil, never got within 20* of it on GC with similar driving.

I use Elf Synthetic. Prob crap compared to all the stuff you guts are talking about, Amsoil, etc.

GC?

I have been running Redline (6 oil changes so far) and on the next one am going to try Eneos 5-30 full synthetic. It is about $6.30 per quart as opposed to $10.00 per quart for Redline.

That Eneos is supposed to be pretty damn good from what I hear. Even seen it boost hp in some cases:tup:

Thanks Red Zed. As soon as I clicked the post button I figured it out. Where do you get it? It is not very available around here.
