K&N claims 14hp but we all know we can't trust the marketing of the companies that make performance mods. Someone on here had it dyno'd and gained about 6-7hp if I remember correctly.

The air certainly won't be as cool as the long tube options that Stillen and Injen offer but I didn't want to have to cut a larger opening for the Stillen or swap the windshield washer fluid reservoir for the Injen. I might swap to the Takeda long tubes if they ever come out.

Today is the day! I am going to Sears Point today for the Jim Russel School of racing to get seven hours of instruction and track time in my 370. I've got fresh oil and fresh tires. I am jacked.

as long as there is good seal with the heat shields i think you're fine.

you can measure IAT's using scanguage or get one of those BT OBD2 modules + Torque (app) and see. even borrow one from a friend or something for a few hours. :)

motored the Z for 45min this am before rain started showing up on weatherbug's radar in the vicinity so went home, did some chores. pretty heavy t-stormage right now, but should pass in 15min or so. :)

tomorrow's suppose to be sunny... i hope.

good luck at sear's point MtTam! hope you painter's tape the front end and mirrors.

In preparation for my incoming (I hope?) shipment of replacement springs, I wrestled the clutch helper spring out today... ended up needing a wrench and hammer as well. And all the parts ended up spilling onto the floor so I have no idea what order they go back in. :icon17:

I dunno how to describe the difference, other than it's definitely better.

FromG2Z 08-20-2011 02:41 PM

PTY, I like that matte black on your car... definitely goes with the EVO R side blades. I likey.

LT, another clutch spring convert? Any more of you and I will have to buy one :)
