Just use ONR and an old mitt. U will be done in 15 mins topa, inside ur garage, who cares about rain

Garage is so tight you can't gain access to the sides of the car other than getting out of the driver side and carefully exiting the garage haha

Sounds like the garage in my new townhouse. I have to pull the car out before I can load passengers.

It's a bitch because my old garage was 26' x 26' and there was plenty of room to manuever around two cars.

i made absolutely sure that my 2 car garage was more of a 2.5car garage before purchase. even asked the builder NOT to finish the walls cause that'll give me another 4.5" of clearance per side. :p

that said, i have plenty of room to detail both my G and Z inside the garage. the G's bigger so difficult to work on the rear bumper without openening the garage door but no rain hits the cars unless a gust of wind. in our area we're required to have a step before the entrance to the house so i have a 3ft area where my workbench and tool cases are placed. even so, no issue opening the drawers. it took quite a bit of planning but well worth it....big bang for the buck for me. :D

Great job on the 'Vette! How hard was the paint? I worked on a C6 Z06 last year and the clear was hard as a rock, I had to use a wool pad with my rotary for the first time on a correction detail since I was getting little progress otherwise.

Thx man... It is just as u said. Hard as a rock. I had to go twice over with the orange pad, and only 95% correction attained. There was some deeeeeep stuff on there.

Today I drive zena to work and to the gym. A beautiful day.

kenchan 08-19-2011 01:42 PM

today i put beach towel over my Z's hatch taped down with 2 masking tapes at the corners. why? our community is getting a hosedown (powerwash) to get our houses cleaned. :D

while i modded the garage door not to leak any water just another thing to prevent any chance for water spots. can't wait to get home to kick their arses...

 I'll most likely do this before putting her away to storage

Reminds me of when my neighbour caught me cleaning my exhaust, I was on my knees practically under the car cleaning my CF Mufflers..."he was like, no one can see that" I'm like "yes they can and I know" lol

ha! absolutely not. :D my lawn use to look decent until lazy landscapers cut out sod and then 'forgot' (took dandy long) to put them back after the driveway widening mod was complete earlier this summer. i was able to revive one side with daily watering but the other side died. HOA franko (he's italian too so i dont mess with him) said 'ken, you gotta keep watering every day' so i said 'ok' and watered every day as instructed yet it still died.

he insisted me to keep watering it so i finally told him to f-off.
