Ha, some people will never understand. Detailing is kind of therapeutic and relaxing to me, plus I always enjoy knowing that I have the cleanest car in any area I go.

My neighbors used to car me car boy since the first month I had the Z, I had the garage door up and the car on jack stands doing something every week haha.

haha Thanks Christian... yes, I knew you meant body shots of the car. We wouldn't want this thread closed out now do we??? lol.

So today, I kenchan'd my Z to a buddy's house to pick up the Amsoil we ordered. I am getting ready for my last oil change of the season, before she gets stored away for winter :(

But anyways, before that, I delivered the Vette I was working on ALL WEEK to its owner this morning. 10 hours of work later, that is :ughdance: So christian, here is the response to your request for some pics... more INFO (including all the steps and work done for this monster project) in this link in the Lounge/DSLR section:

Thanks, that'll help when it comes time. And yeah, I didn't have the foresight to tie down the clutch pedal first, so I had to do some very awkward maneuvering down there which necessitated the hammer and wrench. Please don't take that out of context. :icon17:

hi beach! i was about to get a R32 4yrs ago but found out it only comes in that DSG. :( i wanted a 6MT real bad, only available in other markets.

watch out for those cars though...they are known to spontaneously combust...just like them MINI's. yikes. i think there was a recall on most (if not all) R32's at one point for this. regardless, they do drive fun and look great. :D

Dude, this one is the 6mt! Apparently one of a small number in the country. I will get some pics next time we pull the cover off. It is red and it is hot!!!

Just got my Z back from the shop.. Got the door handles painted in matte black and installed EVO-R Carbon Fiber Side Blades..

Those look great! Nicely done. I think those skirts, diffuser, and the cf fangs would look perfect on a BlackCherry vert. :happydance:

Thanks Beach... I am in for your pics of the R32!!! And yeah I'd LOVE to do your Z32. Nissan paint is SO much easier to work with than GM clearcoat. ugh.

Also, THANK YOU again for the remote trigger suggestion. I LOVE my trigger for my D60.

Tonight, taking wife out to dinner in the Z... looking forward to a long drive.

I dunno how to describe the difference, other than it's definitely better.

huh, did you push down on the clutch pedal all the way while pulling it off?

Took the Z to C & C Williamsburg at 7:20AM, great turnout for our 1st B-Day.

I did. But then I only had one hand and I couldn't wrestle the pin out with my right hand crossing over my left. So I tightened a wrench on it and gave it a light tap with a hammer.

oh ok, sounds good then. i did read some of them were real stubborn.

does the pedal have that much slop(play) at the top without the spring?

I was going to go for my first time but rain changed that... But as always I was wrong and only sprinkled.... Hopefully next time
