I thoroughly enjoyed the 23° temp on my way to work this morn. Car felt FULL of power. If only it always felt like that when I mash the gas. Now that Im at work (i work outside) Im not enjoying the cold temps nearly as much.

 Still havent got my sways installed :( Ill def be sure to do it in the spring before ZDAYZ though. Let us know how it all works out, Im sure you will:tiphat:

Im compiling my winter purchases for my Z. So far Im def gonna be ordering up front/rear slotted rotors, pads(not sure exactally what yet) SS brake lines and all fluids. Also ordering up the Aero Jacket Type III spoiler, seen here

http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...1312482809.jpg

I also plan on getting the GTR start/stop button and rear fog light. I would LOVE the Square Craft side mirrors Kenchan has but I cant justify close to $700, if not more, for side mirrors. Eventhough they look absolutly amazing Ken:tup: Those are the things I def plan on getting. Im paying off my house next week:tup::tup::tup: so now I have plenty of $$$ to dump into my Z:)

haitech 12-29-2011 04:53 PM

:tiphat: Thanks guys. I have wanted this spoiler for awhile, gonna order it shortly after the new year.

sfearl1 12-29-2011 05:01 PM

is that the Evo-R front lip?

I took my Redline oil along with the filter, filter mag, and magnetic drain plug to a local oil change shop and had them change my oil for $20!!! Only reason I didn't do it myself is because I haven't purchased ramps yet and I'm still trying to figure out which ones to buy. I'm assuming no matter which I go with I'll still have to add some steps (wood blocks) because my lip sticks out pretty far.

Just hit 33k miles today. Bought it with 29k.

And I just put my new floor and trunk mats in which look great. My girl just got them for me for Christmas. I haven't put the drivers side may in yet because for some reason the Z store shipped me a Nismo logo mat which makes no sense because on the page it shows both mats with the Z logo so I'll have to have that one exchanged.

The Larger Z emblem makes all the difference. The nicer looking texture and feel doesn't hurt either. I'll be sure to post comparison pics soon but the little Z on the original mat is like 3" by 3" and these are I'd say off the top of my head 10" by 10" or something

Just got done changing my Diff fluid. This was the first time its been changed since I installed my OS Giken LSD about 6K miles ago. Boy it was nasty. Black as tar and as thick also. Smelled burnt to me but not sure if that's normal with this oil being it has 6K miles and three track days. Recommended intervals per OSG is 15K under normal circumstances. So with my track days and hard driving it was time. Good thing was the drain plug didnt have much of any metal shaving on it so I'm happy there.

OSG fluid is 80w 250 and I highly suggest only using there oil. My LSD has alway been quit. The only time I've heard it pop or bind is after a very long day at the track and after a few hours of cooling down it never made a peep afterwards.

I was being facetious and a little bit of a smart-alec. Anytime anyone is in Sac, our door is always open (seriously).

OOOOH, nice. Def in for results:tup: Im looking into some slight body mods myself. Already decided on the Aero Jacket III spoiler, which you have if I remember correctly. Also thinking about the Evo R side blades. Maybe some sort of subtle front lip, although I scrape a lot as it is so idk how a lip would hold up.

:iagree:

That wing looks like the "duck tail" that came on the '74 Porsche Carrera - understated but aggressive. Lovin' it!

Crap, and I thought I was finished with the exterior mods. I did buy my Nismo rims and tires today, so I guess this post can still qualify for what I did with my Z today.

I'm having them shipped to a local wheel shop where I'm having them painted the 2008 Infiniti color Diamond Graphite (WV2) with a satin clear coat. Should have them on the car by mid-January.

Maybe my CF interior parts will finally arrive by then; they were ordered in mid-October. :shakes head:

Yeah I have Aero III rear spoiler, all front lips will scrape sooner or later, before I bought the Shine auto stuff I bought a EVO front lip from the Z store and when I got it ,it didn't fit right and it was broke so I returned it and got the Shine which has a great fit for aftermarket.

It's pretty good I had to drill 2 additional holes b/c the Aero has 2 holes on the edges to keep them down flush, but the only problem is getting one I got mine from Rick @ vip Status (b/c my wheels where late)or you could get it from UAM which gets some of their stuff from Rick, another way to put it is you may want to find something else as in spoiler.
