![]() happytheman- the CF is probably your best choice (especially the FujimuraAuto rear diffuser cover thingie) but then again if you do the 3M DiNoc correctly it can look very good too. considering all the contours i would first remove the axle-back and paint the bottom side of the rear bumper (center section only) matte-black first before applying DiNoc or black vinyl. it looks pretty silly when you got vinyl back there but can see that the bottom-side was not applied. lol ![]() yah fire, if you're happy with your ride who cares! at least your wheels arent yellow or something crazy.

![]() i did my B-Pillars and they look great! but not sure about the mirrors... there's quite a bit of curvature so it may look too fake when you apply heat and wrap it around while pulling.

Alright guys... So what I did with my Z today....spent a couple hours after work detailing the Z, and also, as requested, I took some better shots of the 3M Scotchprint 1080 CF using my DSLR My evo 3d smartphone is nice, but it's still a phone and it shoots pics worth $h!t. Oh Ken, btw, I called my insurance guy, no dice on the discount for clearbra-ing the headlights So, anyway, washed Zena with ONR (no hose, double bucket wash), dried with FK425, then waxed with Supernatural Hybrid over existing Supernatural from 1 week ago. Mmmmm... Supernatural is my new favorite wax. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And here's the waxes I love.......... ![]() Then my almost 11 year old, 95k miles Civic draped in Optimum Opti-coat 2.0 (permanent hand-applied clear coat).![]()

ok guys, im debating whether or not to drop the $1400 for the sport brake package.
do you think its worth it? the main reasoning for me wantting them is cause i want my calipers painted, and the base calipers are quite ugly

Then after that, as mentioned, go with an LSD.

the base brakes aren't too bad... especially for street use but i agree, the sports package is a good deal.
![]() but i think econ's car is asking for lowering more than brake calipers... |

well i cant afford to do both coilovers AND bbk, so its either springs + bbk, or coilovers + keep base brakes and paint 'em

i suppose an alternative approach is get swift springs (which people seem to be happy with) + rear rods and paint the base calipers for now and save up for sport brakes later...(?)

You need a drop Econ. Id get some Swifts, which are backordered for prob a month or so unfortunatly. Then get your bbk. The base calipers are disgusting, I agree. If your not tracking the car it should be great w just the Swifts. PLUS..the majority of Swift owners get their car back to stock alignment settings. You should almost def get away w/o a camber kit. Maybe you could even find somebody selling their Akebonos on here.

Like I said most people are gettng away w/o one. I believe Nismo owners are more likely to need a kit.
