i guess in reality, it doesn't matter if your badges are metal or plastic. i'm pretty sure if you could make the same badge design out of plastic and paint it the standard chrome, black pearl, or w/e else people would be down for it.

AgStackerisms:
Son, you can not afford. Take a look at that guy who posted above you (KaienZ34), he has two Z's, with aftermarket wheels, he can afford. If you haven't already spent some serious cash customizing your car, these badges are most likely not for you. No need to get butt-hurt, just try to be less annoying if you're going to post in this thread. I didn't say you were poor, obviously you are not if you're drive a 370. I just dont think you understand what I'm producing here. I have not offered anything for sale, when and IF I do, I will most certainly become a vendor, I have already spoken to AK about this. __________________________________________________ _______ Wonder why this thread didn't produce results.

![]() I doubt we'll see a mainstream vendor sold version of this, not too much to offer besides the ooh aah factor and to be a tool and say I have metal emblems... Ok bud, good for you lol ![]() Quote:

You could Forge these, or High pressure cast them if you plan on making massive quantities, and bring the price down, well bellow $200.

I looked up the trademark on any "Z" by Nissan several pages back, and it looked like they only own rights to the "370Z" likeness. I seriously doubt anybody will get sued for using just the "Z" logo. I'm sure somebody else had produced a design that looks EXACTLY like that Z long before Nissan ever thought of the 370Z, so in reality it's Nissan who should get sued for it.

Besides, the last thing Nissan wants to do is sue somebody for producing aftermarket parts for one of their cars. That's probably one of the worst things they could ever do for public image in the eyes of people like us.

I would like to see a footrest pedal made. About 4" tall and fit over the existing left footrest, mounted with either double sided tape or screws. You could machine it out of aluminum or even plastic and add a Z appropriate design to it. Anodize in the color of your choice if aluminum.
The footrest in the Z is too far away, it should be flush with the brake and/or clutch pedal imo. What do you think? Stupid idea? |
